The Ocean Play center is a themed paddling pool. In fact it is two pools in one. The first pool is small and leads to a little water slide. The water slide exits into the second pool which is a more substantial paddling pool.

Nice touches to the Ocean Play Center are an inflatable palm tree on the side of the small pool. And the floor of the main paddling pool has a sea scape mural of various sea animals, such as a whale, fish, and turtles  all swimming in a turquoise blue ’sea’. There is also sandy green colored land at one corner of the pool. This is sure to spark your children’s imagination when they are playing in the pool.

I would say that this inflatable swimming pool is mainly aimed at younger children and toddlers. The makers of the product suggest that the paddling pool water level can’t get any higher than 4.5 inches. With this said the surface area, especially of the paddling pool is spacious and can fit 5 children quite comfortably. It is ideal for adults to sit in the pool to supervise their children and take part in the fun too.

The pool walls are a vibrant yellow color and can function as a sprinkler if you attach a garden hose to the pool. The same water hose pipe can be used to keep the water slide slick and slippery. There seem to be mixed opinions on the water slide. Some comments think the slide is great and wanted more room in the paddle pool to slow the sliding child down. Whilst another commenter feels that the slide is a bit flimsy and doesn’t use it.

The Ocean Play center is easy to inflate with an air compressor. Deflating is straightforward too. Water can be released in a slow and steady fashion with drain plugs in each pool. Total volume of water at capacity is 83 gallons (80% of wall height). There is also a repair patch should the inflatable swimming pool spring a leak.
